My kids got me two extra XBox controllers for my birthday. OK, so my husband got them so the kids could give them to me without me turning my nose up at them.
The idea was a good one actually. But to hear him tell it makes it sound even better, “If we play as a family, we will all learn to cooperate better. That’s why they call them ‘co-op’ games.”
If you’ve ever seen a 4 year old and a 6 year old ‘co-op’ XBox game turn into a fist-fight-go-to-your-rooms ‘co-op’ game, then you know what an XBox ‘co-op’ game really is.
But anyway, back to the controllers. Why aren’t all XBox games 4 person? If one game can do it like Halo, why can’t another tamer version of imaginary violence unleashed like Lego Star Wars do it? Is it just inferior programming? It seems the more violent the game, the better chance there is that 4 people can play it.
Come on, damn it. I’ve got this nice pink XBox controller I got for my birthday and I still can’t play Lego Star Wars with everybody else!

Your absolutely right, there should be a lot more 4 player co-op and vs games.
It sucks, that the game publishers think, oh its the online time now everybody plays online.
Well I am sorry to tell you none of my friends have a 360, and they will probably never get one, cause the used to have Playstation 2 or have Wii now.
We need more 4 player games!!!!
