I like the site as far as learning some basic math skills, and it’s fun for my grand kids. They are on a time limit, and I don’t think buying things in the Webkinz shop is teaching them anything wrong like on this complaint site do.
My BIG complaint is that someone down there needs to be fired…..at least the people they have working on this particular web page. It hasn’t worked right for months. It kicks the kids off their games in the middle of playing it. It either takes them back to the front page or logs them off entirely, and hence no “kinz cash” that they’ve accumulated playing the said game. Makes them mad……makes them cry (the littlest one), and it makes me angry that so many people are complaining about the same thing and no one from the Ganz company is willing to fix it. Yet they keep advertising to buy their Webkinz animals. In other words, they want your hard earned money, but they aren’t willing to fix their site.
It’s down a few times a month for so called “maintenance”, but I haven’t seen evidence of that as of yet.
I wish someone down there would listen and do something. It’s a cute site…….or I should say, It would be a cute and fun site if someone would fix it.

Webkinz is a fun site when it actually works right, the webkinz site ALWAYS freezes up on my young daughters it is very frustrating for them to even be on the website. Dont get me wrong when it works it is a great, fun educational site but it is just frustrating when it doesnt.

Yes, the site is very frustrating for kids and adults alike. It is a great site WHEN it’s working properly but it rarely works properly - and Ganz will always blame YOUR connection. The site should run on your average high-speed connection without constant problems.
Just when my kids start having fun they get the dreaded “please wait…” Some parts of the site like the star catcher NEVER work right. Argggg… It’s a shame because the kids really love it and they will lose interest if the “bugs” aren’t ever fixed.

ohhhh,,just bought my nieces new Webkinz…what a waste! The website doesn’t even work,,,hasn’t been working for the past two days..and what good to contact customer support???
I’m very disappointed…money should be refunded or else not required to buy a new Webkinz every day..total b.s./greed to me…

Someone bought a webkinz for my 5 year-old daughter against my better judgement. Now I see what a real scam it is. You buy their crap stuffed toy (who needs more stuffed toys????) & then they get your kid all excited about the website. We joined on Aug 29 & have only been on the site 5 times; not because our computer is bad or our internet but because their server won’t load up for us. If there is something wrong with our computer or our internet then it would never work on their website; it wouldn’t be an “intermittent” problem. My daughter is sad that she can’t get on to take care of her pet & I can’t do a darn thing about it. Thank goodness she’s smart enough to understand that it’s out of our control. No way in hell is my son getting one!!!
