My daughter and I have had multiple problems with this site, inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:
1) Most recently, we tried logging in about 30 times way after the “early day, scheduled maintenance time for July 10th”, however, when the green “W” screen came up, it loaded for a few seconds and then got stuck. My daughter was afraid her webkinz would get sick from missing the day, and we lost out on some of the daily activity bonuses and prizes. My daughter was also afraid her garden would die, because it already got wiped out once from a glitch within the last day or two.
2) We have also had problems with games locking up, for example:
* the gem mine locked up while she was entering one day and then wouldn’t let her try again even though she never made it into a mine,
* the 2nd level of the piano employment job loaded the screen and never went into the game and then blocked her from doing another job for eight hours
* the newspaper job registered “all three strikes” at once when she threw the paper at the green door, as indicated in the instructions, and then blocked her out of the jobs for eight hours. This happened at least two or three times with this particular game.
(NOTE: We, too, sent e-mail advisements and asked questions, but their e-mail system is so generic that we did not receive any information that was helpful to our plight. Instead they sent some generic response explaining the same information that you find when you first go to the employment office to try a job.)
3) When she bought a new room, not only was she unable to rename it, as we’ve had previous problems with, but it seemed to wipe out all the belongings from her kitchen. She cried because she thought that she had permanently lost the appliances, etc. that she had worked so hard to buy, but later on when we attempted to get back onto the site, the glitch seemed to have been fixed as the items reappeared back in her kitchen.
4) We have had many instances of her dog just “freezing up” in his room, and then we have to go to the arcade to try to get him moving again, or log out completely and hope we can get logged back in.
5) Several times my daughter has gotten bumped out while playing a game. This results in no cash being awarded from the game and locks up the screen and she has had to log out and log back in, to attempt to get things to start again.
These are just a few of our most recent encounters, and the sad part is that we just bought several more of these things, and were actually planning to sign them up onto the web site, but our experiences with the first webkinz do not make it seem like it would be worth the hassle of trying to keep up with six or more, so if things continue at their current rate, we will probably be among the many who turn these “web site creatures” into just “plain, expensive, stuffed animals with a pretty tag”…………

Hi,I have also experienced problems with webkinz,mainly trying to log in,I would just get a white screen,also the website would log my daughter out and the games would freeze up.I went on line searching for answers and read from other people that theres a conflict between adobe flash player and real player.I uninstalled real player and she was finally able to log back in today,(after 4 days of no play)I was amazed that this worked.I restored my computer and everything prior to this but nothinh helped.Hope this helps.Oh,There hasn’t been any freeze ups since,seems to run better.

I have filed a complaint with the Canadian Better Business Bureau in Ontario.

I requested a refund of the price paid for ten Webkinz pets as the service promised was not provided. If we all do that, maybe Ganz will do something about their service!

Very frustrated this morning! Purchased webkinz for my kids for Valentines Day and can not load them because after the secret code they now ask you to input letters that are supposed to appear. NO letter appear for us. NO WHERE in their help or customer service sites is there a place for me to ask for assistance. All the questions that we are allowed to ask are pre-scripted and do not pertain to my issue. I found a webmaster email whom I wrote and received a message back that in order for me to get help I need to use the pre-scripted help function inside webkinz which is useless to me. so…I bought new pets that my kids can not play with on the computer. I am beyond frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!! It tells you to not have AOL up (which I do not use) and to download new versions of IE and adobe flash. After all of which I still am not able to adopt new pets. VERY UNHAPPY here.

Dear Webknz people tons of times i log on 2 times and the next time i wanted to log on to lemonade2j4 i was not able to logback on .also when i went on to my account all of my room items whould disapear also whould my garden. and people in the KINZ CHAT PLUS whould say thing they are not aloud to say.And also onTummie14 account a opened up a letter 2 times and it stills hasn’t gome away

I have had similiar problems with their website, and am extremely upset as they seem to be worse since I bought my kids the exclusive membership. I’ve sent a few complaints and of course have seen no change whatsoever. It’s hard to dunk a Dingoz when all you can see is the ball and no target! We can’t get our bunny off the trampoline and have to log out or change rooms to do it. We get the “please wait” comment and freezing more times than I can count in one visit! You would expect better service from a reputable company such as Ganz but it’s clear to me that they truly don’t care about the kids, and it’s all about the money!

I AM ALSO DISAPPOINTED IN WEBKINZ , MY SON BOUGHT A VACAATION FOR 500 WEBKINZ DOLLARS AND HE ONLY GETS TO SPIN THE WHEEL 1 TIME AND NOT TO COMPLAIN BUT THE POST OFFICE COULD GO , AND THE SOUVENIER SHOP ALSO , AND 1 LAST THING I WAS VERY VERY OUT RAGED ABOUT HE WENT TO THE CHAT ROOMS HE USE TO GO TO BUT NOW THEY MUST OF DID SOMETHING DIFFERENT BECUASE HE CANT GET IN UNLESS HE HAS A FRIEND. I’m having allot of problems with the site getting stuck and not letting me go on playing and I have log out. It’s been going on for four days nnow and I would like to have it fixed so we can do things with our webkinz’s pets.

It’s been a month now and I still have allot of problems with the webkinz’s website. It gets stucke all the time and I can’t do anything and it get frustrating. So please give me and answer to what all the problems are what I can do

We have had soooo many issues with webkinz that I no longer allow anyone to visit the site. It totally ruined our old computer! I wasn’t sure at first but then we recently bought a new computer and only after visiting the webkinz site did we start having issues with the computer again. We also had a problem because my son was not being credited with webkinz cash whenever he would visit certain games. I sent an email to them telling them that it needed to be fixed. I admit that I was angry, however, I was not vulger…the next day my son was unable to log in because they had deleted his account. I will never again purchase another webkinz. It is unfortunate because they are cute and I felt comfortable allowing my son to play it without fearing predators.
