What is actually going on with washing detergent companies decreasing the amount of liquid we buy then raising the price threefold? Less waste of plastic, hey we’ll buy more and toss more!! I’ve almost given up any type of logic in this country. Useless Stupid A$$es!!!

The last detergent I purchased was more concentrated and the measuring cup they provided was smaller than the old one. The bottle is much smaller, but it washes the same number of loads.
I don’t see this as a complaint, i see it as a good thing. Same product in smaller bottles = less gas wasted to move product, less plastic used, less stuff in the trash/recycle stream…..

Detergents typcially contained a lot of inert fillers to add bulk and volume. The problem is Americans get used to this and think more is better. but when they take out all those fillers which add bulk to the product the product becomes more concentrated. When they take all this filer out it is more eveironmentally freindly such as less tansportation wieght volume and bulk besides it keeps all tha filler out of the sewage system which just has to be removed.

This is a good thing, they are taking out things we don’t need, using less WATER in the mix, and using less plastic too. you are paying for loads of wash, if it is the size of a tanker truck, washes the same number of loads and costs the same, are you actually getting more? Yes, more stuff, but not more washing.
It is a game with you people, example is that you really don’t want to buy gasoline, you want to buy miles to drive. This is similar, you want to buy loads of wash, not gallons of soap.
So, you don’t want to be *greener*, buy something else.
Actually I do have a big SUV Dirve it just to piss off the librals!!!!
