I forggot to mention that the drive has S.M.A.R.T . Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology, is a monitoring system for computer hard disks to detect and report on various indicators of reliability, in the hope of anticipating failures. When a failure is anticipated by S.M.A.R.T., the drive is typically replaced and returned to the manufacturer, who uses these dead drives to discover where faults lie and how to prevent them from reoccurring on the next generation of hard disk drives

I have a hp a1742n that I bought in 2007. it has a hitachi hard drive. maybe you can get a new one from hitachi. they might warranty them for longer than hp did. hard drives fail. that's part of a problem for the standard spinning drive in use today. the future is almost here..solid state hard drives. no more moving parts should provide a lifetime of use. they are just extremely expensive right now.

mind boggling why you needed everything checked after the "friend" just replaced the parts...you asked pepboys for their professional opinions...you got them and complain about them? resetting your check engine light erases the stored codes from the computer. they cannot retrieve anything from a blank memory. let this just be lesson for you.. you are the one in the wrong here to be honest. they are just doing the job you wanted them to do. repair shops aren't going to guarantee your safety and the repair if you want them to use old worn out parts. brake pads are only 1/4 of a brake system.

it only gets harder as you get older. I don't have any problems getting along with people for a short amount of time. but I never really try to be a "friend" with anyone since high school. I know and talk to a bunch of people but I don't consider them a close friend. also...meeting women becomes harder. or at least ones that don't have too many strings/baggage or working on her 3rd divorce. LOL. most adults ultimately end up being friends with family members or people from work. or if they still talk to the people they were friends with from childhood/ high school. which is actually rare from what I've always seen. my advise, you're young...better get out there and enjoy/ make the best of it. it only gets harder and more boring. find a hobby that allows you to meet new people. I got into racing/riding motorcycles and now that's about the only friends I frequently spend time around.

advance sells moog chassis parts. high quality parts. some vehicles have hard to access fittings. it's no the fault of the balljoint manufactures. it's the company that disigned your vehicle. chevy S/10 4x4's are the same way. impossible to grease. that's why you'll find a bunch of them with broken lower ball joints.

I just wanted to add I worked for a company that makes bags and those plastic gloves..trust me, the machinery that those gloves came of off are as dirty as anything. even the money you touched then ate with your bare hands.

why would you throw out a pair of gloves that only touched fresh food? does that even make sense to you??? I'd rather them wear gloves to handle the money then take the gloves off to make my food.

was the remanufacture of the transmission "Proformance"? if it was I'd call them instead of going back to autozone. I bought rebuilt engine from autozone that was remand by proformance. they come with a 3 year 100k mile warranty...that's not a typo...yes it's a 100,000 mile warranty.

well I know how you feel. but do you realize how many times I've been almost killed and even once knocked (clipped)off my motorcycle at 40mph by a car driver? it's up to you to maintain control of your car. in my state, you would have gotten a ticket for failure to control.
