So it is in the companies interest to and profit margin anytime your phone rings! Cellular companies are billed for the premium services by the third party company and then relayed to the customer. most cellphone providers don't like them either - because they PAY the third party company; and a lot of times end up issuing a credit for something they've already paid for. Blocking SMS won't always be the answer either - as even with most GSM providers - blocking SMS only blocks the message - not the charge - the subscription has to be cancelled THROUGH the actual Premium Service Provider... It's a terrible scam which puts the phone company in the middle of it...
