Why with 100 years of phones and 20 years plus of cell phone do we not have a single cell phone that you can see in sun light and the incoming call and phone book numbers are not extremely small and unreadable by someone with normal vision?

an “outdoor daylight” option that is simple high contrast black and white seems such an obvious need.
the problem is that vampire-cubicle-nerd developers who only go out at night are designing these things.
