My biggest complaint about undressing for the metal detector is not that I have to do it, but that you do.
For the most part, you know your daily schedule enough to know whether or not you’re going to be going through a metal detector during the day. It’s not like metal detectors and security check points pop up randomly in places you don’t expect.
So if you know you’re going to be going through a metal detector, why do you still wear your bling? Don’t you get aggravated too when you have to take off chains, rings, metal studded pants or that gigantic cowboy belt buckle?
Don’t act so surprised either like “Oh my gosh, what do you mean take off my aluminum shirt?”
The next time you head to the airport or other place you know you will be walking through a metal detector, save some time, trouble and effort for you and all of us standing behind you and dress for success.
