TV poker is probably the most boring thing on TV (if you’ve already deleted CSPAN from the lineup), but occasionally I’ll scan past those games (because it’s not about what’s on, it’s about what *else* is on, eh?), and I noticed something that I’d like to talk to the players about: a big part of poker is learning to control your “tells”, the body language that gives other players an insight into your hand; if you feel you need a full beard, sunglasses, and a 25-gallon cowboy hat to hide your face, you don’t deserve to play.
What’s next, diving helmets? Beekeeper net-hats over Groucho Marx glasses? Stick to internet poker, Marcel.

Poker on TV ain’t poker. Poker is all about the bluff. Like you said, if you can’t see faces, how much bluff is there? They had better bluffers on “To Tell The Truth”.
Agreed, they need to get some tough guy commissioner to lay down some rules and at least ban the blast helmets like the one in the picture. Helmets should be outlawed before it gets out of control and the sport loses credibility…
Or we could just get rid of poker on sports tv stations and show some more Notre Dame Football Games instead.
What a bunch of retards. You don’t like TV poker cos you don’t play it. If you knew how to (or had the balls to) play, you’d enjoy it.
Idiots.
