We recently opened a box that was packed in 1974. It contained several items of our childrens memorabilia. How funny it was to find a roll of toilet paper that one of our children had placed in the box. Even funnier was when we took our roll shopping with us and found it to be twice the size of every so called jumbo roll of toilet paper in the store. All the name brands were there and we made sure we compared them all. So ALL of you toilet paper manufacturers out there who are lying to the consumers…..SHAME ON YOU!

What the hell are you talking about?
Did u count the sheets? Maybe the rolls today are rolled tighter or are just thinner. Also, over the years paper will absorb moisture and may increase in volume.
The only way to be sure is to count the sheets. Larger rolls will not even fit on dispensers.

Hey, great article, I wish I had so much free time and interesting things to debate about. I guess you are a special persion. I have had an Idea, why not dig up dead people and make love to them and we can use the fat toilet paper to get rid of the evidence? Or, you could see how much paper you could swallow without dying? God, 1974, what a year. Get a life you pickled egg licking fruit cake.

Why do people have to be so rude (as per Betty) just because they find it odd how some people spend their time comparing products.
There are a lot of things people do on their own time that don’t really amount to much in the scheme of life. Don’t get rude when their curiosity is of no consequence to you or the rest of humanity. The product comparers could, instead, be sitting around getting drunk and then go drive their cars and possibly collide with Betty’s car - who would then have something to complain about. Comparing what used to be to the present is interesting to many people. Some would say that all of us who took time to post here don’t have a life which would include the rude people as well.
