See your making a very false assumption. You are assuming McCain picked Palin to get Liberal Hillary voters, when In fact he picked her because she has many of the same views as he does. The fact of the matter is she is a woman and will gain many of the Hillary votes. It also puts the McCain camp in the historical light as Barrack Hussein Obama being the first Muslim, Ops I mean black man running for president.

Many African-Americans see this as the same old strategy that has been used over and over by the so-called White Religious Right. If you can divide the people, you can conquer them. I know, many people are going to say, I am not a racist, I just think we are not ready for a Black Man to become president. So White woman unite and let’s elect a man that has one foot in the grave and the other one on a banana. Let’s elect a so-called hockey mom with no experience for VP. Anything is better than a well educated Black Man with a Harvard degree and a VP with three decades of Foreign Policy experience. We like the way our economy is going. No one has the solution to this problem but us good republicans. I say to you and everyone that thinks like you that, GOD is the only one that will have the final say in this matter, and that no one group of people have a monopoly on GOD’S GRACE and MERCY.
@ PeterRabbit, this is truly unfortunate. I believe America is truly ready to accept a black or female president. We are just not ready for a communist, socialist with terrorist tendencies. If McCain were black he would still be my choice provided he had the same character. Now don’t get me wrong here McCain is certainly not my number one choice for president. However, McCain is the lesser of the two evils. Seems like that is what we are stuck with more and more these days. It is simple arithmetic that the US Government will receive a certain percentage of the GNP as revenue from taxes no matter what the tax rate is or from whom the taxes come. We are simply maxed out and and spending more than the GNP will provide. The only way to get more more into the coffers of the US Government is to raise the GNP. The only way to raise the GNP is to encourage industry by lowering taxes, reducing burdensome regulation. This will also serve to downsize government thus reduce spending and finally get the debt and deficit spending under control. This is why its McCain and not Barrack Husein Obama. If Barrack were the one who were preaching lower taxes across the board he would then be my guy regardless of color.
And yes anything is better than a man with about 2 years experience in congress and lifelong politician with literally no accomplishments.
Yes God will be the ultimate judge and yes there is a group who has a monopoly on God’s Grace. That group is the group who work god’s will.

Burying your head in the sand and refusing to look at this country’s history of race relations among its minority population is just plain hypocrisy on your part. It is a known fact that many White Americans vote with race being the main motivating factor for choosing a candidate for any political arena. Sure, “We have overcome” but African-Americans have a long way to go to change the hearts and minds of White-Americans. As far as GOD’S will, His will is that we live peaceable with all mankind.

No no you misunderstood my comment. I said personally I would not have a problem voting for a black man, women or white women etc. It is purely the issue and what is needed for this country that I would/will vote for. Surely there are many people who would vote on race both black and white. I’m sure Barrak Husein Obama will get plenty of votes just based on his race, and likewise there are many people who would ordinarily vote for a democrat, jump party lines because they do not want to vote for a black man.
I also said as a whole I think the general populace is ready to accept a black man or women or white women as president. On the other hand the predicted race riots (I hope will not happen) may contradict what I say.
By the way calculated is what my comment was intended to be. As calculated is the opposite of random. Calculated implies a wise choice set out by careful thought. Thanks for the Compliment.

Mark, you might as well get use to it. Barrak Husein Obama will be the next president of the United States. There is nothing that you can do to change the inevitable. Just as I had to endure almost 8 years of our now lame-duck president Bush, you Mark will have to endure 8 years of a soon to be Great President Barrak Husein Obama. So get use to it. You will change your mind about him when he gets this very sick economy up and running once again. And even if you don’t, you like many others, will reap the benefits.

Tell me what he has done with his life and career which makes him such a great choice. Tell me exactly what you believe he will do for us that makes him such a great choice. For anyone who is reading this what have the republicans done that is so terrible. The worst is the prescription drug socialist program and fumbling the war in Iraq. We have not had another attack on our soil in the last 8 years (pretty good If you ask me).
But what have the congress mostly the libs done to our economy. It all started in 1992 (yeah Bills watch) Congress mandated banks to begin these horrible loans to people who cannot afford to repay them. All because of ACORN’s influence and a faulty study.
Its time to get ride of them all and start over new! (congress that is). and its time they spend time in prison for pillaging the American people. Our Friend Barrack voted for no oversight of fanny and Freddie. He is also one of the largest recipients of funding from fanny and Freddie.
