My Biggest Complaint About The Customer Is Always Right

I have been in retail and customer service for more than 20 yrs and the old saying about the customer being right all the time when they enter your store or calling you on the phone to complain is pure BS. From my own personal encounters with people who try and prove to me that their right whenever they have had an issue with a product or they’re not able to understand how to use what they’ve purchased properly and want to bitch and moan and complain about it.

I RELISH PROVING THEM WRONG MAKING THEM LOOK STUPID AND THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW IT. I DO IN THEIR FACE OR ON THE PHONE. DOESN’T MATTER. MY FELLOW CO-WORKERS BOTH PAST AND PRESENT HAVE SEEN ME DO IT AND JUST LAUGH.

Telling me that you’ve paid this amount of money or that amount and start to threatening, BE WARNED!! IF YOU HAVE EVER DONE THAT TO SOMEONE WHO IS JUST TRYING TO ASSIST YOU WITH YOUR ISSUE, JUST REMEMBER WHAT YOU’VE JUST READ. MAYBE YOU MIGHT HAVE COME ACROSS ME OR ANY OF MY PAST AND PRESENT CO-WORKERS WHO HAVE SEEN AND HEARD ME HANDLE SOMEONE LIKE YOU!!!

  1. Sounds like you love your job. Maybe if you ever change careers you could get a job euthanizing animals at the humane society. Lots of pain, misery and you could be in control of it all. :)

    Usually you need to appease your customers but yes there are that certain few who you could care less to see them back in your shop or any of their frineds becuase these kinds of people just cost you more by having them as customers then you could ever gain.
