My Biggest Complaint About Shrinking Toilet Paper Rolls
I know: I have way too much time on my hands, BUT (no pun) toilet paper rolls are not only a half-inch shorter, but the cardboard center of the rolls are larger, thereby requiring less paper to be sold.
Ah ha! Somebody else noticed too! I’d just posted this when I found yours.
It’s not just the width of the toilet paper roll that’s shrunk, it’s also the size of the cardboard roll in the middle getting bigger! I just compared some that I’d saved for the kids to do projects with and found quite a difference. And that’s not something you can compare in the store! I’d rather the companies just told us it was going to cost more to get the same old size than that they use cheating to keep the cost the same. Of course, then they raise the price anyway.
