My biggest complaint is some of the people who ride SEPTA everyday and think they have a right to sit in a seat and than put their schoolbag, purse or something of that nature on a seat right next to them.
Even if there is an old woman, pregnant women or someone with a disability on the train, they feel it is not necessary to remove their purse and offer a seat or even free up a seat for someone who really needs it.
This pisses me off because when you ask them to move the article so you could sit they have a nerve to give you an attitude like you are out of line to ask them to move their bag off of the seat
so you can sit down. Uhhhhhhhh. You pay for one seat not two, get over it.

What about people who are morbidly overweight? What about the coffee cup I need to put on the empty seat so I can tie my shoe. Opps….my coffee spilled right into the seat. Now everyone can look at the wet seat and look at me taking up three seats now: my coffee, back-pack, and myself.

I agree. SEPTA is the most antiquated public transport system in the U.S. and people in philly are really rude.
