Ron, what in the hell are you thinking? Are you trying to be the “Admiral Stockdale” of this election?
If you missed it, here’s what former republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul had to say
They attack us because we have been over there. We have been bombing Iraq for 10 years. We have been in the Middle East. I think [former President Ronald] Reagan was right. We do not understand the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics.
Maybe you’ve missed it Ron, but nobody bought this when this was the “official version” we were trying to cram down their throats.
In hindsight, this was probably a good thing to say because it shows you really know how to take one for the team. We like that. I mean, you’ve totally dominated the headlines today taking all the heat from Rudy McRomney’s flip-flopping abortion rights gay love stuff and focused this race back where it belongs - in the past. That’s our only hope.
