Rapidshare premium service is horrible. When I first joined they had 25gb for 5 days then they increased it to 10gb a day, which was great. But at the end of October, it’s been reduced to 2.7gb a day and they still charge you the same price. They claim that this is an improvement!

I was stupid enough to believe what the wrote saying that “existing plans” won’t be affected. So I renewed my account. Nope, not only is my bandwidth reduced to 2.7gb/80gb month, but they included the usage before the renewal. So on the day that I renewed my account, I have no bandwidth and it looks like I have to wait 30 days to get the next 80gb month!

Just a quick note on Ripshare or Rapidshait which ever you prefer

Joined THAT SITE as a premium subscriger> Initially I was led to believe

UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS>>I can understand having to limit to a certain degree

OK>>So Im making due with 25 Gigs per 5 day period>>Im a fiend and although I

reached my limit per day I felt for the $ it was well worth it>>Renewed my

acct 3 times and grabbed another acct with Rippedshare points>>Satisfied

customer right So Far>>Found New forum ,good links
and all Rippershait>>Yay!! So Im downloading and Im not running out of out of

available resources (And Im downloading with 2 downloaders and the Mozilla

file downloader) WTF? I look and I see they have increased download

restriction to 50Gigs per 5 days>This is great!!!

Downloading as usual get about 10% of my scheduled downloads and I get the

message I have reached my download limit???????

OF 4 Yes FOUR Gigs per day!!!!
Now really pissed and fired off an email to THAT SITE Im not expecting to hear

back from them but I will never ever do business with those people again
They make money off the hard work of their subscribers posting The people that

rip cds and post The people that submit movie links>>THE SHARERS>>These are

the people that spend their time gathering torrent files and uploading files

These are the people that should benefit

I for one will only post on Mediafire check it out I recommend this service

above all others and believe me Ive tried them all

HELP ME BOYCOTT RAPIDSHARE IF YOU HAVE HAD ISSUES AS WELL

I have a premium account and I’m pissed off! Don’t pay for one get a collectors account if you wanna spend the time because Rapidshare is a rip off. I paid because it said unlimited downloading and you can download alot but what they don’t say is you can only download 25gb every five days. If you do like I did and downloaded that much with a lot of time to spare they will block you from downloading anything. As I write this I’m still currently blocked from downloading. I tried to contact them to have them remove that limit or give me my money back because that is like false advertisement but can’t get a hold of anyone.

I own a premium account but for those of you who don’t, I suggest you create a collectors zone account!! You will certainly come closer to a free premium account rather than complaining!!

pretty ungrateful attitude, that. they provide you a free service and you complain that you’re not getting all that paid subscribers get. how do you suppose bandwidth and operating expense should be covered? they should just give you what you want out of the kindness of their heart and at their expense?
