I am tired of the music spreading around. No, I am not some oldie, complaining of how we used to walk 15 miles to school and 15 miles back. I am a 14 year old who is sick and tired of having to waste, AAA battery after AAA battery on her mp3 player just to get away from the filth on the radio.
How in hell did we go from “Let’s make sweet love between the sheets” to “I’m gonna chop you chop you, screw you screw you outta yo SPINE”?
And the mofoing dancing! Crank Dat Soulja Boi is one of the stupidest and poorly worded songs I’ve ever heard that still gets the point across(Super man that ho! Super soak that ho! And Superman That Bitch!). I saw the dance. Also stupid, but not offensive. I watch him live. The first and only video I watched. The only part I watched… He was humping the floor.
…
The girls in the crowd were cheering him on as if he were doing something impressive! He lifted himself off the ground slightly, so as he was humping the floor, his crotch was also thrusting at the crowd. The girls went crazier.
There was a pep rally at my school. The guys were dancing off to the side. They were just messing around, and thought they were dancing awesomely! Then the announcer dude called them to the fore front. Next thing I know, they’re on their knee thrust their hips at us, hands fisted in front of them like… like.. they’re masturbating or something!
And those damned ghetto ass girls were cheering on as if that ****’s acceptable! Call me an oreo, call me a racist. I don’t care. If you didn’t want to be labeled by your skin color, YOU WOULDN’T ACT LIKE YOUR STEROTYPE!! You don’t see me in ill fitting clothes, pregnant, yelling nigga every third word, and saying how much i like fried chicken. You know what? Some of them really do fit that description perfectly.
Maybe I’m being to mean to my own ethnicity. Maybe i should just describe those girls at my school.
How about tramps? Under educated, unmotivated, uncivilized, loud, egotistical, wastes of space that really need to get a better hold of the phrase “COVER UP YOU HOOKER”.
Yes, that is about right.
So, as I watched Soulja Boi, I realized… the DO think it’s acceptable. It isn’t REALLY their fault(doesn’t mean I won’t criticize them for it), but it’s society’s fault.
So, now I look back. You know… I love Michael Jackson’s dancing. “Oh, he’s a pedophile! He’s a pervert! He’s gunna come into your room at night and rape you!”
Soulja Boi and Lil’ Wayne are perverts.
If the parent’s or legal system thought his sex offender status was important, he would have been found guilty.
If the parent cared about their children in the first place, they wouldn’t let them stay over night at a stranger’s house.
At least Mike can dance! Same goes for his sister. I’d rather the “Rapist” over the Obscene Retards any day.
Thank goodness their are singers like Rhianna and rappers like Mike Shinoda(not black) to save the goodness of our music.
Honestly, when did RnB and Rap get dirtier than Rock?

why don’t you just change the station? No one forces you to listen to a station that is for rap and hip hop.. Duh… But I have to agree, I find the music annoying and the dancing stupid… And how about their “grills”? Thats annoying, too… Generally, I overall agree with you about the music style..

Its not just turn the station, let it go, not anymore. I heard complaints about innuendo in songs from my heyday, during the 80’s. But, it was just that, innuendo. That was around in the 50’s. The modern RAP/RnB/Hip-Hop is nothing more than a string of obscene phrases, and it is across even my lines. Look at my nick, I’m not exactly a halo wearing preacher or anything, but this is out of line, and out of control. I applaud someone younger that has the common sense to know that no girl or woman with ANY self respect should tolerate this B.S. from anybody, EVER. Being a welfare baby-maker for a gold-grilled idiot is not glamourous, nor will it get you anywhere, except to the projects.
The amount of filth masquerading as music is alarming, and you’re right - reinforcing bad stereotypes isn’t that good, either. Why do we glamorize activities and lifestyles that aren’t good for anyone involved? I’m not coming from a sex-is-bad mindset here — but not ALL music has to be about dirty sex!

LOL… Your 14. What do you know about hip hop, rap or r&b. Whats right for you to diss it. You named the 1 who is a DISGRACE to rap. I totally agree with you that Soulja Boy is the worst artist came into the business, but your not the one to diss hip hop rap and r&b in general. Its not cool. I guess you never heard of rappers like Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Nas, and many more. They rap about their lives and expierence. They don’t talk about **** like sex drugs and money. They could care less about it. People like Soulja boy, 50 Cent, G-Unit are the groups that only talk about sex drugs and money.

Our school bus driver puts on the radio station, AND WILL NOT CHANGE IT. That’s why I’m being forced. And yes, OLD school rap is cool (NOT Kanye).
