My Biggest Complaint About Prices At Cinemas

I really love seeing movies at . But why does it have to be so incredibly expensive? You pay half the price of a DVD that’s just gotten out (and they are actually also really expensive here in Denmark).

And what’s with the cost of pop corn and candy in the cinemas? It’s not like it’s been sprinkled with gold dust.

For two tickets, two half liters of Coke, and one medium sized tub of pop corn you pay the equivalent of approximately $70 - it’s crazy!

  1. It sounds like the U.S. prices are equivalent. I hear you. Honestly, you could almost buy a month of satellite TV programming or nearly three months of Netflix or Blockbuster (movie rental services) for what it costs for two people to see a movie.

  2. I say we BOYCOTT! That’s the only way.

But then we have to stay away from the cinemas.. That’s no fun, and movies are after all better in a cinema.

  4. The last two times i went to a movie i reused my “unlimited refill” cup $3.50…its still in the car too and i’ll use it next time….
