		<description>I grew up in the deep south.  While it was very common to use the n word we were not allowed to do so.  My grandfather had a rare blood type.  During WWII he was seriously wounded.  The soldier used to give transfusions of this blood type was a black man.  My grandfather always said that when he was asked if it would be ok to use a black man's blood to save his life it didn't matter one bit what color he was.  

I've wondered if anyone ever refused a transfusion from that man.  I'd guess not.</description>
