My Biggest Complaint About Poor Internet And Cable Services

Right now I am residing on an island for my summer vacation and find that there are some complaints to make about their internet and cable services.

I don’t like companies that pretend to be professional, and are acting worst than a mom and pop owned business. I think it’s professional scamming, when a company takes your money, and provides you with less service as stated on your monthly plan. If I am paying for high speed internet, I expect high speed interent! If I was paying for dial-up, I’d expect dial-up. Not only that, but everytime you call in, for tech support, they require you to go through redundant procedures that clearly don’t solve the problem. Then when you ask if they can send a technician out, they promise to and none is ever dispatched!

It’s frustrating being on the internet and having the signal go in and out, in and out, where loading of pages are slower than dial-up! We’re paying for high speed internet and our connection is no where near it! Not only that but it can just go out completely, leaving you there with a “Can’t Find Page” from IE and if you’re taking exams online or online courses, you’re in for the anxiety attack of the century!

Not only that but if you decided to complain about their lack of service, they’d have the nerve to actually hang up on you. I mean what kind of customer service is that? Can you imagine paying $800 per month for internet and phone services and you’re not receiving the adequate amount of bandwidth speed to make up high speed internet, it’s ridiculous and depressing.

Now, as for the cable services, it’s not as worst but it doesn’t escape the horrible services that the phone company provides to it’s customers. Everytime we’re watching TV, it seems appropriate for the cable box to turn the cable off and on. It’s more like a game to see who can keep up with the random disconnecting and connecting of the service so that we can actually watch TV. Not only that, but calling them is yet again, a waste of time. It’s as if no one cares about the customers
