My Biggest Complaint About Politicians Who Didn’t Inhale

It's all about credibility.

I am sick and tired of politicians who want to have some credibility in the drug debate so they admit to smoking some “waccy baccy” at college but then say that they “didin’t inhale”. What the hell does this say about them!?!

Now I don’t care if they did or didn’t take drugs but what they are telling us is that they sat there PRETENDING to take drugs to their friends whilst actually not taking them at all. What were they doing as the other students rolled around on the floor chewing the carpet? Were they carrying on the pretence by talking utter crap, feigning “munchies” and generally acting the stoner or were they taking advantage of their suddenly superior lucidity for more nefarious opportunities

Candidly, non inhalers are either:

  1. Too scared to try anything new [dont want them as my leader]
  2. Too scared to stand up to their pals and tell them it’s stupid [dont want them as my leader]
  3. Knew it was dumb but wanted to be in the “in” crowd so pretended to take drugs [dont want them as my leader]
  4. Wanting everyone else to be trashed so they could screw whoever they wanted [dont want them as my leader but probably have him/her right now as one]

I’m sure there are other permutations of thought but the point is made that politicians who say they “didn’t inhale” are the worst sort of deceiver on every level. They condoned something they knew to be wrong for themselves (or they would have inhaled) but didn’t have the moral conviction to try and protect their friends by stopping them. Rather than having the courage to say EITHER yes or no, the non inhaler takes the third way by pretending to do one thing whilst actually doing another……. truly this may have been the point at which they realised that politics awaited them!

I’m off now to fill a syringe with heroin, don’t worry though, I won’t inject it…. but you can.

  1. At least with Obama, you don’t have this issue. Cigarettes, weed, “blow” (as he called it) - it doesn’t matter, Obama’s been there - done that.

  2. Your comment about probably have this leader now. Well GWB has fessed up to his shortcoming like him or not! Id rather have a non drug user non alcoholic with a prestine past in office but hey we are all humans why do we have to hold our leaders to these superhuman ideals. Inhaled or not mistakes are mistakes and we all make them the important thing is that we are able to realize they are mistakes and learn from the mistakes so we do not repeat them!

  3. GWB is not my leader…. at least I don’t think so but some might argue otherwise as I’m from the UK.

  4. Cool how easily we forget that the net is an international community. but same still applies inhale or not a persons (or leaders) character is what he develops over time and how he learns from his mistakes.

  5. It’s ok if they smoke as long as they admit it and not deny it.Some the leaders in history did drugs.Theodore Roosevelt smoked and drank. But,
Adolf Hitler was a vegan and detested drugs.
