That may be what your pope says (or the preacher you idolize), but if it were a Christian nation, gays would be killed, as well as Jews, because you hate both.
America is for everyone who goes about their business peacefully and respectfully. Not for hate-filled bible thumpers.
I don’t want to live under some sort of theocracy, like they have in Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Some people just ignore history, because facts get in the way of the argument. Our nation was founded to prevent religious persecution. Our forefathers were some of the most atheist writers of the day, so I wish people would study history more and listen to TV evangelist a little less.
