What a day for American jurisprudence. The Paris Hilton saga ends with the Sheriff, an elected official making a decision to let a rich white slut walk, in seeming defiance of the Judge’s order that prohibited electronic monitoring. This problem looks fan-friggin’ tastic around the world.
Now they’re telling me Paris was on the verge of a nervous breakdown? People don’t have nervous breakdowns anymore. Nobody’s had a nervous breakdown since the 70’s. We’re all just under a constant load of seemingly unbearable stress. We still do our time. We try like hell not to, but we still do our time.
So many legal stories that make you mad involve the big three - lawyers, judges and juries. Now we’re all seeing who has the real power. Just like the Sheriff of Nottingham, the real power is with the one holding the keys to the jail.
My biggest complaint about the whole thing? This isn’t about race, sex or religion. This is about money. The whole thing smells worse than the inside of the actual jail that Paris never saw and just shows that in America, it’s better to be rich and guilty than poor and innocent.

WOW…I have to totally agree. That’s just like R. Kelly. The man was on TAPE, for God’s sake! So was the girl. So how the HELL did he get out of that situation? Yeah, money. And the same thing goes for Michael Jackson. During the trial, there was constant evidence that this man was cookoo, as well as someone who had been indecent with children, yet he walked free? Again, another example of rich and guilty…..damn shame.
