My Biggest Complaint About Parents Who Drop F-Bomb On Kids

Another complaint about my roomate’s horrible parenting. Over the past couple of months when she is up getting her kids ready for school and pre-school she gets angry about them not eating breakfast or being slow to get dressed and what not. My problem? She keeps dropping the F-Bomb! Her daughter just turned 8, and her son is 3 and a half years old, so they’re not teenagers, they’re not old enough that they’re hearing the word F*** at school and saying it themselves. I wake up most mornings to her screaming and saying F*** to them. This morning she said to her daughter, “What the f*** do you think you are doing? Quit f***ing around and get dressed!” Shortly after that her 3 year old son would not eat his cereal and was saying he didn’t like it. Her reply was, “Eat your cereal! I am tired of this s*** every f***ing morning!! Every f***ing morning you say, “Mommy I don’t like this, I don’t want it!” (She says that part in a mocking childish voice.) You may not be a morning person, but guess what?! Mommy’s not a morning person either. Now eat your f***ing cereal right now or I am throwing it away!!!”

She plays this game daily at meal times. One of the kids won’t eat the food, and the parents say, “Eat it or I am throwing it away.” And two hours pass at most dinner times with the kid saying “I’m eating I’m eating.” and the parent saying, “Finish eating or I am throwing your food away/paddling you.” They never actually paddle or spank them, they just threaten to throw away the food, and the kids cry and yell about how they want to eat the food. I’d just give them a chance or two then toss it. If the kid doesn’t eat the food in 45 mins they apparently not that hungry, they’ll learn to eat the food in 45 mins or they’ll lose the left overs till lunch tomorrow or something. And if they say they’re hungry in an hour or two, well then let them finish their dinner. I don’t have kids, and maybe that’s not a great idea, but I’ll figure it out when I do have kids, but I am sure as hell not going to scream at them and say, “F***ing eat your food!” Followed by a stream of f*** f***itty f*** f***ing f*** f***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
