A few years ago Motorola outsourced their desktop and windows server based IT services to a phenomenally incompetent company called CSC - perhaps you’ve heard of them. They. Suck. Good, smart people lost jobs and unintelligible and heavily accented somewhat english speaking people over the phone replaced them. I had also heard that CSC was not necessarily making a lot of money on the deal, which begs the question, “So who was facing the pillow?”
Then there’s Gargamel - AKA Ed Zander, (only number two at Sun for fifteen years for a reason, I suspect) who doesn’t believe Motorola should make anything but phones. So he sells our division to Continental, who came to our facility with personal anal smoke generators for every employee and talked about how great it is to be Continental. Then they said they were closing the plant. And shipping the lines overseas. And we’re training them and making it happen. Unreal.
I can’t even begin to express my disdain at corporate jerkwad execs and their inbred short-sighted un-American accountants.

I almost threw up in my car before I could pull over to the side of the road and puke the other day when I was listening to a Presidential press conference and heard George Bush say he was exploring a corporate tax rate reduction to see if that would help keep jobs in the country.
What? Give the same corporations who are outsourcing and offshoring as you point out even more of a tax reduction and use the very problem they have created as the reason for the reduction?
Why don’t we just get the Army to wipe their ass when they take a crap, too?
