Actually, there are many other places in Manhattan where the parking meters are in effect till 10pm, for example 2nd ave near St. Marks Place and many parts of Broadway uptown. That being said, NYC parking is clearly a mess. Free street parking can be found, however, if you know where and when to look. Our website lists every street parking regulation in Manhattan in our parking search engine (kind of like a Google for parking). Alternatively, drive around yourself and collect teh info. Either way, knowledge is power and knowing where you can and can’t park can save you lots of money and lots of precious time as well.
