Similar to others, my pc became infected with Advanced Virus Remover 2 weeks after I purchased and installed Norton 360. Upon reaching support, I was first offered the $139 assistance and then from a supervisor the $99 assistance and had to allow access to my system. I declined and googled Advanced Virus Remover and opted for the $29 Spyware Doctor. It did the trick. I will now decline the charge on my Amex and file a complaint with the state attorney. I’m very curious if the Virus is keenly hidden in the Norton products. Or, is the timing just coincidental?
