My Biggest Complaint About Norton Symantec Stealing From Me

I am so tired of every year being charged 59.53 for Norton/Symantec on a computer I have NOT owned for 2 years. This started in 2004 and every year i call to cancel and they NEVER issue a credit back and the next year charge my credit card again. I have been on hold today for 1 hour and counting to get the same run-around! This is wrong and should be stopped! I cannot get anyone to help not even DISCOVER, I guess i will have to close this credit card to stop the charges. This is theft, and should not be tolerated by anyone.

    I have always had success in dealing with Discover. You have to follow the rules usually listed on the back of your credit card statement. The complaint must be filed within 60 days. Calling may work but it is best to send a letter with the proper info in it such as the charge date, Transaction #, amount etc. It is possible you can now file online at Discovercard.com. Keep in mind a phone call is not official.

    Also get The Consumer Action Handbook which is free from the Federal government which lists the proper authorities to contact. You can then contact the proper Commissioner and it will be fixed quickly.
