Because law protects them, the New York State Higher Educations Services Corporation are undoubtedly one of the most arrogant of state agencies. But there’s a new twist. This agency has been selling student loans to a collection agency for only pennies on the dollar. Won’t the people of New York State be happy to hear that money they put up for school loans is being squandered by a state agency that has no idea how to collect it. Since we’re going that way, why can’t the government give students a bailout on their school loans.
