  1. “Anti-Apple”

We wouldnt complain if we didnt care.

  2. Apple freaks bowing down to the altar of the Cult of Jobism consistently slam everyone else in the market as third rate trash but then complain when those outside the Cult of Jobism slam Job. Typical hypocrisy and proves at every turn why I have concluded most apple zealots do indeed possess the character traits and psychological dynamics of religious cultists.

I finally gave Apple a chance by buying a mac mini and 17″ macbook pro. I haven’t have the macbook pro a year and already must send it off to apple for repair because of defects in design of thermodynamic principles. I can cook a steak and egg dinner on my machine. NOT IMPRESSED. Will not buy another apple product again.

  3. what? can you really be anti-any-electronic-product? apple’s not an ideology, a person, or anything worth getting heated about. if you really feel the need to defend your mp3 player, an os, or anything else inanimate that you DID NOT CREATE, you’re an idiot. only your master stevie (who i doubt knows or cares about you) and his developers are allowed (sorta) to get personally offended by negative apple news. this goes the same for any fanboys of any platform, thing, or product. you possess the characteristics of people that cause the most harm in this world; people who have absolute faith, absolutely, in the face of contradicting evidence. oh, my dad can beat up your dad and my toilet paper is waaay better than your toilet paper (triple-ply b*tches!).

ps. i’m typing this on my macbook which is ok. i could’ve typed it on my desktop pc but i’m liking my couch at the moment. wow, they both sorta work ok. what a revelation!

  4. lol i love my iMac, i think the problems with laptops lie in almost all laptops and don’t get me started with dell…. mine got shipped with broken speakers, a broken monitor and after a few months of having it i would wake up to and expanding number of files with a “cyclic redundancy check error” meaning they were corrupt… there goes a year of photos and memories…. **** you dell.
and i’m sorry if your mac doesn’t work well, haven’t ever used the macbook but i’ve had quite a bit of experiance with iMacs and they work extremely well. for gods sake the coloured iMacs they have at the school i’m going too (the first generation with CD readers) that are about 7 years old running OS9 work better then my 5 month old dell computer did….

  5. X2!!

Back in highschool, I was taking a beginner architecture class and my teacher had about a 10 year old mac that had the colored mac emblem and the huge floppy disk reader, and he still used it consistantly for random little jobs that his winblows xp computer would have more then likely messed up somehow. Find me a ten year old PC with no problems and I will go buy a dell right now.

  6. everyone’s mileage varies with computers.

they way apple treats their customers pisses me off and is what prevents me from buying their products.

i build my own computers for myself and clients.

i only use QUALITY parts from brands i trust for that reason.
i NEVER accuse anyone of my clients for damaging their system.
i’ve yet to see an OEM of any computer, apple or otherwise do that.
but i did have amazing experience with Compusa’s in house support.

oh yeah, gateway desktops have like a 9 year shelf life. i was about to start diagnosing a problem for a friend when the main board finally gave up the ghost on him. pretty good considering most people say you can get a decade of solid constant use out of an adequately cooled computer.

if you want a computer with no problems learn how to fix them. **** happens, you maintain the system. its like changing your oil.
