The computer was free right? Be thankful you didn't have to shell out any cash. My biggest complaint is about idiots that look a gift horse in the mouth. Did you even do the research and find that YES, you can run windows on a MAC!!! Please if you are going to complain, do the research. Hell, ever heard of Google? You-Tube? There are many tutorials on the web on how to install windows on a MAC. Oh I forgot, you would rather complain than to be independent! The mac offers ichat for any instant messaging and uses video. Anything PC can do, Mac can do better. Its better for organizing data, and everything works extremely well together. If you bought a mac for video conferencing only and only for Microsoft Live Messenger then...im not really sure why you bought it? Mac has many better ways to do video conferences and when you give it a chance you will realize just how dumb down PC is. I feel like selling it now and getting back on my el cheapo Acer which served me fine. How can this be justified with a supposedly superior product, the most basic thing is missing??????? I don't know you but Macs are incredibly easy to use. Windows hasn't made any decent changes in their operating system in like fifteen years. PCs are no good for web design, music production, video editing, or photography work. They have problems with spam, pop ups, and viruses that Macs do not. Also, Macs are more visually pleasing, easily organized, run smoothly, and never have to be "defraged" which, by the way, hardly does anything. Macs are used by professional artists and filmmakers. PCs are used in cubicles. Not to mention, if my boyfriend bought me a 1,500 state-of-the-art laptop, I might open up enough to give it a chance. This makes me want to say something mean.
