My Biggest Complaint About My Indecisive Cat

I just let my cat in through the back door. He walked over to the couch, scratched it, allowed me just enough time to shut the door and sit back down on the couch and then the cat walked back over to the door and let out a yelp like he was trapped because he wanted to go back outside. The entire span of events lasted less than 10 seconds.

It’s nothing for me to let the cat in and out nightly between 5 and 10 times. He comes in and out more than kids on a snow day.

He can stay for as long as 20 minutes or as short as 10 seconds like this last visit. He never does anything productive while he’s here.

I know what you’re thinking, “Don’t let him in or out, one or the other.” Good idea on paper, but every time he wants to go back out, it’s the same blood curdling cry for mercy of a meow that he just let out.

He’s bascially holding me hostage.

  1. he’s playing mind games with you. show him who’s boss.

  2. Maybe you should just keep him out all the time or if keep him in all the time if you decide to keep him in maybe you’ll have to take action like maybe getting a water bottle and squirt him everytime he meows at the door this has really worked on my cat when it came to him chewing on electric wires or jumping on tables maybe it might work for you.

  3. Get a fregging cat flap!
