We had a new tenant moving into our condo in Lakeview and we needed to get it clean. I did a search online and found MyHomeMaid.com… Gave the number a call and asked how much it would be to get the condo cleaned that week. The girl on the phone quoted me $22 per hour.
I said great, when can you come? She responded with “there is a 3-hour minimum”. I said no problem, send her over and charge my credit card for $66. The maid came over and cleaned for two hours (THATS RIGHT! ONLY TWO HOURS, when I agreed to pay for THREE). Whatever, I didn’t care about that… The next day I saw a charge on my account for $132. Called the number and left two messages with no return call so I filed a dispute with my credit card company… The Maid Service then sent my credit card company a fake document saying that I agreed to the charge…
My credit card company ended up saying they would eat the charge. The way the maid service tried to get away with charging to much is just wrong. This is not someone I would ever do business with again… DO NOT USE MyHomeMaid.com!
