Four years ago today George Bush stood on an aircraft carrier and proclaimed Mission Accomplished. He took our country to war on a bunch of trumped up lies, without an exit strategy, and with no knowledge of the region, its politics, or its history. There were no international terrorits rings there (of any significance) in Iraq, and now the entire country is a terrorist farm. The terrorists don’t need to attack us, they have 150,000 of our honarable service men a women to kill right on their doorsteps. George ordered them there. Meanwhile, when is the last time you heard anybody even mention the word Afghanistan and where is Osama Bin Laden? Mission Acomplished, George.
What we have on this fourth aniversary of Mission Accomplished is 3,351 dead US soldiers, and nearly 25,000 wounded, many having serious brain and spinal cord injuries. How many more must die or be maimed to accomplish whatever mission this administration believes they accomplished four years ago? Updated casuality statistics here.
