Of all the things to ruin your career with - dog fighting? WTF? This is a civilized nation, Mike.
Steroids? Sex? DUI’s? Each almost understandable. Hanging dogs that won’t fight, drowning dogs that won’t fight, well … don’t even think about taking a jury trial.
Dog fighting, Mike? I just don’t get it. You could have any woman you want, you can drive any car you want, buy any house you want, smoke any joint you want - hell, Mike, you could have used your gifts for something positive and actually made people’s lives (other than your own family’s) better. But you want to dog fight?
Like it’s not enough to get chased around by human dogs every Sunday in the most brutal sport we have.
Not only is the idea of dog fighting utterly repulsive, but you throw in gambling on top of it all. You signed for something like 50+ million as a junior from VT and now you’re pulling in two or three times that with endorsements … well, you were pulling in that before the whole kennel side job thing.
Did you actually take money off of some poor saps out in Surry, VA? Give me a break? $1,000 here, $10,000 here - what good did that do you?
My biggest complaint about Mike Vick and dog fighting is that any way you look at it, you and you alone, Mike, brought this upon yourself. You either did it or you got rapped up in the suspicion of the whole thing because of poor choices you made along the way. Either way, it’s your fault.
It’s all about the kids, Mike, and now there’s no hope of telling your kids to “Be like Mike.”

My biggest complaint is that humans and dogs are two separate species on this earth. People bet on boxing matches at every fight. But that’s entertainment… The IFC is a very brutal sport but it is acceptable. How can (certain) people value a dogs life over our own. That sickens and scares me at the same time. Dogs, cats, lions, tigers, and bears. Any animal that bleeds will fight, even humans. Its is a dogs natural instinct to fight. I breed pitbulls. I have observed them fighting as puppies with their eyes open and closed. Not only pitbull act this way, but any other breed of dog. Animals are our companions, not family members. When our mothers gave birth to us she didn’t give birth to a puppy as well. When you sit at the table to eat, is their a place for your dog at the table as well? Not at my table. My pitbull knows that she is a dog and she gets treated like a dog because thats what she is. I am offended that this “great nation” that was built on corruption and is still running on corruption, has nothing better to do than to sentence anybody black, white, yellow or brown to prison for something so small. Before Mike VIck’s name was brought up, dogfighting was a misdemeanor in Virginia. Eight days afterwards, (certain) people went into congress and made it a Felony. WTF!!!!!!!!!! So, I guess if there was a rabid dog on the loose I couldn’t put it down with going to jail? Where is PETA when deer hunters advertise themselves killing deer on national T.V. How is that different from dogfighting? We have bigger issues at hand people. My biggest complaint is AMERICA!!!!!
