I am writing following up others’ complaints about “bent” displays on Macbook Pros.
Mine too is bent exactly as in the picture. It makes me sick to think that Apple gets away with charging so much for barely mediocre hardware. I’ve also come to find out that the LCD displays they use are 6-bit and not 8-bit. Meaning that dithering is used to give the illusion of millions of colors, when in reality, they are no capable of anywhere near that many.
It plainly says on the apple site that the screen is capable of millions of colors. (At least it used to. I can’t find it now, maybe they took it off of there deliberately??) Is this even legal??

mac items have potential. but i definitly agree. apple does overcharge for junk that stops working less than a week from being purchased. i hate APPLE. they need to make things WORTH OUR MONEY!
