My Biggest Complaint About Kitchenaid Silicone Bakeware

Biggest complaint is the smell of the pans when baking. Last night, I was baking muffins with a traditional aluminum pan. The second batch was in the silicone muffin pans. In addition to the unpleasant smell, it set off the smoke detector.
