Why are there 8 year old kids with cellphones? Do they have a job? Or a complex social life? Teenagers with cellphones scare the hell out of me even worse. I was run completely off the road by a dumbass teenage girl sending a text message. I wish I could meet that kids parents and slap them! Take the phones away from the kids please. There is absolutley no reason for a child to have a cellphone I don’t care what the commercials say.

no ****. if kids do have cell-phones, the only numbers they need to know are the parent’s numbers for emergencies and 911. ****ing dumb-ass people.

What I ****ing hate is when you are on Public Transportation…The Bus or The Train commuting to school or work or wherever or you are at the Library trying to study for an exam…and some ****tard asshole kid has his or her cell phone ring tone volume jacked up to level 10 and when it rings you hear the latest Ghetto/Rap Song blaring from it or same “kids” have music blaring from it that I nor the people around them want to listen to
Of course when you ask politely for them to please turn the volume down..they immediately give you an attitude and start getting Racial by calling you a “Stupid Mo Fo Kracker” or “Stupid white ****er”

OMG u know what i cant stand? texting! i swear. im 19 years old so thats the only thing my friends do all the time. and like i hardly even use my phone u know. i have this friend that i don’t even now why i am still friends with her, all the time i get together with her, SHE IS ALWAYS TEXTING SOMEONE ELSE!! i get so frigin’ pissed off at that because every time i try to talk with her, or at least try to hold a freaking conversation with her, its like virtually impossible because all shes doing, is freaking texting someone else. it is so annoying, i don’t even know if she pays attention to me when i do talk with her. its like why even be my friend if you cant hold a simple conversation with me? i feel like im being ignored by her, does she know that that is like completely rude or is it just our generation?

I am with you on this one. I am a mother of 9 yo and 7 yo girls who have been hounding me for a cell phone for at least a year — why??? Because their friends have them!!!! Geez - everything is so outta whack. Who the heck do they need to talk to? When they have one, they should pay for such a privilege - but the earning potential of a 9 yo is rather limited
It’s just another diversion to steal their focus from good wholesome kid stuff — physical play, learning and family life. At this rate what will they be wanting at 15 or 16?
