I’ve been on board 24 since season one, episode 2. I’m talking way back when President David Palmer (sadly now deceased) was only running for his first term. Back then, Jack’s love interest was his wife who was dramatically killed at the end of the season.
Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of things wrong with this season of 24, but Jack Bauer’s love troubles ain’t helping much.
As far as the evolution of Jack Bauer, the love troubles are doing nothing but helping to make me lose total interest in the show.
Last night’s episode where Jack’s once thought to be dead but really captured and tortured by the Chinese while trying to rescue Jack from the hands of the Chinese herself girlfriend, Audrey Raines, acted like she had been turned into Jodi Foster’s Nell because of her torture and Jack Bauer, tough guy extraordinaire, was the only one who could talk to her.
Please.
I’ve heard many say that Jack Bauer is the “American James Bond”. While this may be true, those people are not referring to Jack’s debonaire ways with women.
Hey Fox, bring back the real Jack Bauer. You’ve only got 3 hours left to do it this season. Just give Jack a gun and his cell phone and let him go get some bad guys. Leave the mushy stuff out.

lets just forget about his girls and his ridiculous daughter all together. jack bauer is supposed to be the freakin’ best, and the best should know that you can’t be an effective agent if there is always someone that can be held against you.
which is CONSTANTLY an issue on 24 for jack and many other characters as well….
