My Biggest Complaint About HP Tech Support

I resell HP products and have had customers return two different Photosmart printers. Each one took over 2 hours with tech support to get replaced. What a major pain!

Then I had a bad cartridge…it didn’t work in three different printers. I called, they had me go through a pile of stuff. After 45 minutes I was so frustrated, I hung up. Then I called again. I did the same troubleshooting, another 45 minutes. Still wouldn’t replace the cartridge; escalated it to the top guys who are supposed to call me within 48 hours. I cannot believe a company can survive with this quality of support.

  1. I ORDERED RECOVERY DISCS.. THEY WERE DEFFECTIVE, I SPENT 2 HOURS WITH HP TECH ON A CHAT
    HE SAID THE DISCS ARE DEFFECTIVE.
    I HAD TO CALL TO GET REPLACE OR REFUND
    I CALLED ON PHONE FOR AN 1.5 HOURS.. THEY REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING. (ON A PRODUCT THEY SHIPPED ONLY A FEW DAYS PRIOR). THEN THEY HUNG UP ON ME
    NOW CALLING AGAIN.. ON THE PHONE 2 MORE HOURS STILL NO ASSISTANCE WITH ANYTHING.

I too am having a problem with the ink cartridges…then I started having problems with my computer even recognizing my printer correctly, not to mention I can’t get the wireless function to work again. When I first got the printer it set up correctly and everything worked, then I went to change my ink and that’s when everything started having problems!!!! I can not use my printer at all…what a waste of money!!!
