Purchasing the HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 was easy. Installing the right XP windows drivers a disaster! In fact, the HP printer support center in the Philippines not only could not fix the problem, they royally messed up the Windows XP operating system on my pc! Do not allow the techs to remotely control your pc to remove files that they think conflict with the new driver set as they do not have the needed competence to correct the driver conflict problems.
I am now in the process of returning the printer to them but have yet to hear from the support center with an RMA
