There is no excuse for a patient to have to endure unnecessary pain or unsanitary conditions while in the hospital. Medication is available for the patient but only when the nurses get around to bringing it to them. Sometimes it might take a few hours or so. There is also no excuse as to why a patient has to sit in soiled sheets for over two hours or going for days without being bathed. This is a frightening time for a patient and they should be treated with utmost respect and care.
