Tell me about it, while they are at it they should get rid of blacks, hispanics, asians and INTERRACIAL COUPLES (sarcasm). Get over yourself. If you don't like it, change the channel! It is a home decorating channel for God's sake! Of course you are going to see gay couples/individuals. Maybe you should watch Discovery Health instead and see if they have a show about how to remove the stick out of your ass.

OMG! Somebody's complaining that a television network dedicated to interior design is "too gay"! Seriously, I think you need to just change the channel, go outside, and maybe get a breath of fresh air sometime,...

David is gay, that's the way he acts, look at Clay Aiken, he is a product of what he thinks America wants, living a closeted life because he is afraid his career will be over if he truly states who he is. Would you want your friends or family to lie to you and then you find out they are someone you expected them not to be? People that watch these shows containing "gay" characters and complain should just as well be watching XXX porn and then saying, "the action is disguisting or I was repulsed".

I couldn't agree with Jon more, if you don't like what you or your kids are watching, push the channel up/down or turn the power off. Simple fix!

Ummm, I was just thinking about gay and lesbian content on HGTV this very morning. I wasn't so much thinking I don't want to see that content (although I am a Christian, but I feel like no sin is greater than the other and since we all sin, there's very little point in judging someone because their sin is more apparent). Really, I was thinking, is HGTV going out of their way to be gay-friendly? I was contemplating the design star finalists and thinking how freshing it was that the male contestant isn't overtly gay. He could be gay, he could be straight, or he could be some odd brand of individual who prefers the affection of veggies or something. Whatever he is, it really has nothing to do with his ability to design a home or host a show. So, that got me thinking about the former winner, Mr. Over the Top-Color Splash-Man. He seems like he goes out of his way to remind you that he's gay in his episodes, adding on the extra bit of stereotypical gayness every time. So, my concern with the gay and lesbian content of HGTV is more that it seems some over-compensation in order to pander to those communities and the fact that the number of examples seems slightly disproportionate makes me wonder if they're not targeting the audience because the stereotype is that gay men love all things fabulous, and that includes fabulous home decor. I could be wrong, but I figure it's worth voicing, if only to have my question answered with a "no" so I can stop contemplating it.

If you don't like the content, CHANGE THE CHANNEL!!!!! Also, try a English or spelling class.

Why do we have to put up with these left wing christians trying to run and perfect everything about American life? Everyone is not a christian! Everyone doesn't believe in your way of life so why force it on us?

What do you tell your children when you are watching "straight" couples getting it on on more public networks?

Many of the producers and writers of HGTV have "alternative" lifestyles. Maybe you should let your children watch Ti and see how drug abusers end up. Is that more acceptable for your family?

Jonny, yes I am gay and hold hands with my husband, we are married!!!!!!

Hi! Not really a complaint, but an observation.
Why don't you require all of your home improvement shows involving a kitchen remodel to recycle the old cabinets to a needy home in the community? I cringe when I see the demo team and homeowners sledgehammer the heck out of perfectly serviceable cupboards!

Thanks, Lisa Hart
