1. People who push the idea that humans and our “pollutant” CO2 are the cause of global warming.
2. People who instantly accept that notion without looking at any evidence to the contrary.
3. Schools that REQUIRE viewing “An Inconvenient Truth” for a passing grade.
4. Schools that plant this insanely arrogant attitude in impressionable children’s minds so that they parrot it at home.
I’d rather children were taught to think and analyze and question, most certainly about science matters.
In the span of four and a half billion years, do you think our planet might have cycled through this a few times? Do you really think we have enough historical data to reach any conclusion?

Well I am one who’s looked at both sides, and although global warming might actually be a natural event of the cycling of the earth, it’s also responsible and shown that with the chemicals we’re producing each day, we are having a cause towards global warming.
It’s natural yes, but with calculation on past events, the current global warming is happening faster than it should. There lies the problem. It exists naturally, at a slower speed, but with what we’re doing, it’s basically 10 times faster.
The problem is to help reduce that speed and bring it back to being only a natural disaster rather than a cooperated one from us humans.

What are your sources to substanciate this. Who measured this stuff when the dinosaurs roamed the earth? You are making an assumption that your historical data taken from fossils or whatever means is a correct extrapoltion which most likey it is not!
when a volcano erupts it emmits more so quoate “green house” gasses than in a few minutes than man has in all of time and you really think our little huffing and puffing can make such an impact as 10 fold? WOW.
but in reality would love to see what your sources or research are? And please please don’t even mention Al Gore or an inconveint truth! This man and this movie are so full of junk and junk science that even a gradeschool student should be able to debunk its not even funny!.

Exactly, exactly. See, the trick here is - we CAN’T use historical data because our own history doesn’t go back anywhere NEAR far enough - 200,000 years that we’ve been here out of 4.5 billion? Intelligent enough to record data for what, 2000 years max? God, it’s such an arrogant attitude it kills me. What percentage of CO2 do we produce compared to the ocean? This planet will “shake us off like a bad case of fleas” to quote Carlin. Look at the sun, my friend, the one and only natural force powerful enough to affect our climate as quickly as we see. Remember, I’m not necessarily disputing climate change, only the cause.
Adapt or die.

I had the extreme misfortune of listening to a presentation about global warming. ( Oh yeah sorry even this has to be politically correct but I rufuse to use the newly coined term climate change to express the extremely stupid idea of global warming). Anyway this presentaion was by a Colorado Governemnt offical who was discussing the new governors proposals to stop Global warming. Well this person showed a slide which indicated that the governor arbitrarily wants to get CO2 emmisions back to 20% below 2005 levels. She then went on to say that a few years ago everyone talked about 1990 levels but then suddenly realized we cannont base it on 1990 levels becuse we do not know what those levels are!!!
Ok so here we have these ignorant jerks preaching to us about how we are damaging the climate/earth with global warming and are so certain about it. However, when put to task on the reality they can not even tell us what 1990 Green house emmisions are and they want us to beleive they can accurately tell us the average temperature of the globe 100-150 years ago and even Supper Gore (Al Gore the great, Inventor of the internet) can tell us about this stuff in anceint times, back when the dionosaurs roamed. But these tree hugger hippie type pickled fags (to quote a great song) want us to beleive they can make this statements of fact and in the next breath tell us they have no idea what was going on even 10 and 15 years ago.
