		<description>as a player in high school and soon to be college i say it all depends on the place. i play at one white trash town with crazy fans you get shit thrown at you when you have to walk through the crowed right before the game and have to listen to them just rip on you. i mean it ant no geto but ya wana just stomp there asses out.</description>

Although as you said macaddict, it's just a game, the game is one of the most "hostile environments" in all of sports. I agree with slappy.</description>

		<description>I agree that it's silly for football players to use the term "hostile environment" but for a completely different reason.

Football &lt;em&gt;is&lt;/em&gt; a "hostile environment". That's the whole idea. The point of the game is to create a "hostile environment" for your opponent on every play. The bigger and faster the collisions, the more "hostile" the environment becomes.

So for someone who makes their living in the "hostile environment" that is football to consider playing in front of opposing fans who have had too much to drink and will yell and scream obscenities until it's time to get another beer to be the "hostile environment" is plain old mouth poop.</description>
