You know what… **** talking about Michigan, they don’t matter anyway.
I’m just going to limit this to Florida. Let me get the logic straight:
- Florida chose to break the rules and move their primary up
- Florida sued the DNC already and lost
- Florida wants a re-do and they want someone else to pay for it
Now let’s back up to the hanging chads… remember the chads? When it was all about chads, Florida wouldn’t do a re-do.
WTF? You have a Republican Governor who wants Hillary to run because she will lose against McCain.
At this point, I can’t pick my biggest complaint about Florida and Michigan screwing the presidential race.

Allowing Florida and Michigan to have a mulligan (political sports analogy, see another complaint) would be equivalent to rewarding bad behavior yet again. The purpose of the original Democratic punishment was to remove the power that Florida and Michigan tried to usurp by moving their elections up (they wanted to have more influence). So now, if this attempt goes through, Florida and Michigan will have complete control of the election - total power.
I believe this idea has been backed by Dean. In retrospect, it was probably good that he didn’t get the nomination the last go around.
It is ironic that idealist in the United States believe that we can export free and fair elections to fledgling countries like Iraq, when we have proven time and time again over of the past decade that we can’t even do it correctly at home.
Don’t blame Florida its the DNC who has the problem which conflicts with Florida State law passed by a legally formed congress and by legally formed procedures.
Really I don’t know why anyone is really complaining at this point cuz were doomed with all three hopefuls this go round. I’m die hard republican/conservative and I’m beginning to think Hilliary is the candidate which will do the least damage to our country.
As for the Chads if your too damn dumb to operate the voting apparatus in this case pushing a piece of paper out then maybe your vote shouldn’t count.
