My Biggest Complaint About Falling On A Dismount And Winning An Olympic Medal

Where do these judges come from? Why are they awarding these high scores?

The men and women have to protest and demand to know where the deductions are…

all countries….together….protest!!!

  1. Not the most elaborate complaint, but I assume you are talking about CHENG Fei and her questionable vault. We were sitting here dumbfounded by the favorable judging that some of the Chinese gymnasts are getting. Cheng Fei landed, for all practical purposes, on her knees on her second vault and the judges reward her with scores that give her a medal. I can’t say I’ve ever seen that in an Olympics.

Not sure how you want to organize the protest. Perhaps we should all stop buying Chinese made goods :)

  2. I am surprised that this subject isn’t being talked about more! Yes, clearly the Chinese are cheating with the age requirements, but these underage girls are also receiving unusually high scores, even when they completely screw up. I feel their “updated” scoring system needs another review. Not to mention, the majority of the countries that are doing the scoring, have not produced a medalist. Nobody seems to know what’s going on, and the other gymnasts are the ones that are getting ripped off. You can see who won, and that scoring system FAILED!! (more than once)

  3. Okay. I really think that they are being biased. When the chinese gymnast and the American Nastia Luken got the same scores on the parallel bars final, and were both in the running for gold, who got the medal? The Chinese. I just think it’s weird that they’re winning practially everything when they have never won that much before. I can’t count the number of times i’ve heard ‘oh and for the very first time the Chinese take gold on….’ I didn’t see the fall on the vault, but i think it’s totally unfair. Ah i don’t want to be too biased either, but it might be because they feel more relaxed because they’re in thier own country, which helps them perform better.

  4. Point agreed upon here. I have not watched that much of the olympics but that which I have watched is very obviously biased in favor of the chinese. For example the male gymnist from spain on the rings way out performed the chinese but the took 3rd place. The sports like track which has a clear winner are not biased so much, but the bias is obvious blatant and disgusting. I don’t know how this is being pulled off, could it be threats to the life of the judges by the chicom, is it the chicom paying off the judges is it both, is it coincidnece.. I don’t know but something is obvioulsy going on with all the subjective sports.

  5. People forget, everybody cheats…. It depends on who gets caught.

East Germans were using undetectable ROIDS and they never got their medals stripped. It was strange when a small country (half of Germany and the smaller half) can get more medals than the American. Well, you got the answer. They had scientist who learn to make steroids undetectable at the time.

South Korea bribed the judges to select their native boxer during the Seoul Olympics, when it was obvious that Roy Jones Jr. won the fight.

  6. No everybody does not cheat!!!! There are still many many honest people out there with integrity. It is the underdog with no morales moraes or ethics that cheat, like the chicom.
So Mr. ChinaRocks don’t accuse us ALL of cheating cuz we don’t

  7. So, is there some way for American citizens (not related to anyone in the Olympics) to register a formall complaint. Please don’t laugh, as I realize this is a longshot. I just can’t agree more about China. Even before the girl fell on her knees, it just seemed [especially on the vault] that the Chinese were being favored on the scoring and the Americans were being cheated of scores they deserved. It actually seems that it was not just the Americans who were shafted. I can not speak for other sports, as Gymnastics - and a few others, such as diving, where the end score is dependent upon OPINION - will always have subjective results. Even with that as the case, come on! You can’t win a medal when you land on your knees - that is a FALL! It’s not a misstep; feet would have to be involved for a “step” to occur! Knees don’t count…this is not the para-olympics! No offense intended toward that fine international event.

If anyone does know how to voice a complaint legitimately, please share that information. THANKS
