My Biggest Complaint About Fake Smiles

I don’t know what makes a person think they’re fooling me when their smile is so poorly performed. I see the sudden change in your facial expression and notice the transition was far too abrupt. I also notice your expression return to its normal miserable self as soon as you think the angle is right to get away with it.

Your smile is chock full o’ bull****. What amazes me is that people do this everyday, all day and still can’t figure out how to perform a seemingly genuine smile when they don’t mean it. The stupid “twunt” (props to my buddy who invented that term) who pulls this fake smile **** on me everyday should consider herself lucky I don’t call her out on it.

I don’t want to see your fake smile, I don’t want to hear your terribly over-enthusiastic “HELLOO!”, I only wish to be surrounded by genuine human beings. So please take your pseudo-dramatic lifestory, you greasy dandruff-strewn hair, pretty slammin body but fugged-up nose, and your bull**** ass smile as far away from me as possible, twunt.

  1. Let me take a moment and share something with you. Sometimes you just don’t know what a person is going through. Recently I lost a good friend of mine to lung cancer. I might of been one of those people who gave you a poor attempt of a smile, but at least it was an attempt. I will share with you the sweetest smile that I have ever received in my life and it came from that friend of mine dying from cancer. Through her pain and I do mean pain she managed to give me a smile. I will never forget it.

  2. While it’s definitely true that I don’t know what this woman’s actually dealing with, I’m confident in saying that her smile toward me isn’t one of struggle but one of simply not being a genuine person. It’s not a smile that fades into sadness, but a smile that fades into apathy. It’s said that we smile not only with our mouth but with our eyes. Eyes will tell us if the smile is real and it can also tell us if the person is depressed, angry, or just a great big phony.
I’m sorry you had to lose such a good friend, but I think we’re describing two very different things.

  3. So has this chick done anything wrong apart from faking a smile(or 2)??
