As a designer, I will always and forever be unhappy with my portfolio. I grow as an artist with every doodle or project I complete and that makes yesterday’s piece obsolete. So imagine all the obsolete crap that populates my design portfolio. I’m supposed to bring this to a possible employer and feel confident about it? Hell no!
My biggest complaint about Design Portfolios is that they are a ****ing bitch to keep updated since I keep pulling things out and asking myself how I could ever think it was good enough to go into my portfolio to begin with.

Hey, Im with you here, we are photographers and expereince the same thing we are showing people work that is maybe a year old and we have come such a long was since that time. It is almost impossible to show someone your current work but hey the good point is if they like what you are showing them now they should be totally blown off their feet by what you are producing now!!!!
