It is obvious that Delta is taking advantage of it's customers. They cancel flights and treat customers as they are cattle. They blame the weather and there is not any weather affecting the areas they say. Their employees are trained to lie and will stare you in the face and lie to you then turn around red-faced and say they didn't know, or they were just told something different.

On Sunday, July 13th I was scheduled to leave out of Jackson, MS on the 5:15 pm flight to Atlanta, GA. I checked the flights around 3pm and found that the flight was delayed. I called Delta and was on hold for over 30 minutes waiting for a CS agent. When the agent came on it was a Middle Easterner who I could barely understand and was not very friendly after I kept asking her to repeat what she was trying to tell me. I finally understood that the flight was running 1 hour behind which was fine I had planned ahead and allowed myself a 2 hour window to connect to my other flight to Louisville, KY. Then she told me that I had been bumped to the 6:15 flight which still was fine. I hung up got into my car and was driven 30 minutes to the airport. I was let out with my luggage and walked into the airport to the ticket counter and was then outraged to find that all the remaining flights for Delta that evening had been cancelled due to bad weather in Atlanta which was not true.

I was told they would not be able to honor my ticket and I would get a refund. I was scheduled to be at work at 8am Monday in Louisville. I had to rebook a flight on American Airlines for that Monday at 11:00 am and didn't arrive in Louisville, KY until after 5pm.

Long story short I missed a whole day of work and went through a lot of BS for nothing. I can't imagine why Delta expects customers to keep putting up with their carelessness. This will be the last time I EVER fly Delta Airlines. I also wrote a letter to my congressman and my local representative.

I WILL BE GLAD WHEN THEY FINALLY GO OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO RUN A COMPANY.
